Commendations have continued to trail the rollout of the 2026 Free JAMB Registration exercise facilitated by the Deputy Majority Leader of Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon.(Prince) Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK).
The initiative, which commenced in 2016 under the ARK Education Empowerment Initiative (ARK-EDEMI), has provided registration support to thousands of students over the years. This year’s edition expanded beyond Ikeja Constituency II, accommodating beneficiaries from neighboring communities in a move aimed at promoting broader access to tertiary education opportunities.
In a bid to ensure inclusiveness, Hon. Kasunmu approved a last-minute extension of the registration window, allowing more eligible candidates to benefit from the programme.The decision, according to coordinators of the initiative, was taken to prevent any qualified student from missing out due to financial constraints or time limitations.Parents and beneficiaries who spoke during the exercise expressed gratitude to the lawmaker for sustaining the intervention for nearly a decade. Kasunmu, popularly called ARK, reaffirmed his commitment to educational advancement, stressing that the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal 4 — Quality Education — remains a key focus of his representation.Observers note that the ARK-EDEMI Free JAMB Registration has become one of the flagship educational support programmes in Ikeja Constituency II, as about 2000 candidates benefited from the ARK 2026 FREE JAMB exercise, reinforcing the lawmaker’s emphasis on youth empowerment and human capital development.The vibrant lawmaker promises to do more.
