The Deputy Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. (Prince) Adedamola Richard Kasunmu(ARK), has extended warm greetings to Christian faithful across Ikeja Constituency II as the Lenten season begins.
In his message, Hon. Kasunmu described Lent as a solemn and sacred period marked by prayer, fasting, sacrifice, and spiritual reflection.
He encouraged Christians to embrace the season as an opportunity for renewal, deeper faith, and strengthened commitment to love, compassion, and forgiveness.He noted that the values symbolized by Lent — self-discipline, humility, and service to humanity — are essential to building a peaceful and progressive society
. Hon. Kasunmu prayed that the season would bring spiritual growth and divine grace to all Christian adherents and further inspire unity and collective advancement within Ikeja Constituency II and Lagos State at large.
