Yesterday, 17th February, 2026 marked a truly memorable celebration for a hardworking and creative entrepreneur, Rukayat Abegbe, whose birthday turned into a colourful and heartwarming surprise she will not forget in a hurry.
Although she had no plans for an elaborate celebration, the day took a dramatic and joyful turn when she arrived at her shop to find a beautifully packaged surprise party thoughtfully organised in her honour by close family and friends.Upon her arrival, she was welcomed by stunning decorations that transformed her shop into a festive arena.
The surprise package featured two beautiful cakes — a large white vanilla cake and a creatively designed smaller cake shaped like a POS machine, symbolising her entrepreneurial spirit.
Also included were a lovely money bouquet, a bowl of delicious small chops, cupcakes, a colourful throw pillow adorned with her picture, and several other thoughtful gifts.As soon as she stepped in, drummers who had been eagerly waiting burst into lively songs and rhythmic beats, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration.

Overwhelmed with joy, she danced and smiled as neighbours and friends gathered to share in the excitement.The celebrant also received exotic gifts from friends and well-wishers, including Mama Odun, Mummy Bolu, Mummy Glory, and many others. Her elder brother in Abuja, Alhaji Aremu, and his wife equally sent generous cash gifts to honour the occasion.
Notably, the planning, coordination, and flawless execution of the surprise were handled by Bisi Fabowale, CEO of OlaBC Foods, in collaboration with the celebrant’s partner, Mr. Sho. The OlaBC Food Crew delivered an outstanding job to the admiration and satisfaction of everyone present.
Rukayat Abegbe, a diligent and sociable young entrepreneur, is the CEO of ROLAD PLUS VENTURES and AL-MAROUF OIL AND GAS. During the celebration, guests were treated to delicious jollof rice and chicken, ensuring there was plenty to go round.
The party has since remained the talk of the town in the Adejare/Pipeline area of Ajuwon, a suburb of Lagos State.She also received scores of messages, calls and goodwill gifts from far and near.
